Overview
Instagram connects through Meta’s official APIs. You need a Professional (Business or Creator) account linked to a Facebook Page. Once connected, you can use Instagram in automations and the shared Inbox.
24-hour messaging window
Meta allows free-form replies for 24 hours after the contact’s last inbound message. Outside that window, use an approved message template where required. ChatinFlow surfaces window state in Inbox and automations.
Connect the channel
Open Channels
Go to Dashboard → Channels and choose Instagram.
Authorize Meta
Complete the Meta OAuth flow and select the Page / Instagram account you want to use.
Confirm status
When the channel shows as connected, you can attach it to automations and reply from Inbox. If permissions are lost later, Channels shows a reauth prompt.
