Upload a list of codes and the Give a code step hands each person a different one; someone who asks again gets the same code, and when the list runs out the flow takes a "No codes left" path. Limited spots works the same way for places: the first people to reach the step take a spot and go on, everyone after that follows the "Full" path, and your team hears at 90% and when it is full.
Each comment gets its own code in a DM, and asking twice brings back the same one.
After the last seat, everyone hears it is full and can be tagged for the next date.
