We want a freelancer answering DMs for two months. I do not want them seeing billing, exporting our contacts or editing published automations. How fine grained can access actually get?

We close a reasonable number of deals that start in the DMs but the record of it lives in someone's head and a spreadsheet. What should actually be recorded, and where, so the pipeline is real?

Our welcome flow sent a first time discount to people who have been buying from us for two years. They were not impressed. How do you exclude an existing customer from a flow meant for new people?

We manage social for about ten brands and we are currently logging in and out of a different tool per client. What does a sane setup look like for an agency, and does each client need their own subscription?
There are two of us answering DMs from the same Instagram account and we keep replying to the same person or both assuming the other one did. The native app gives us nothing. How do teams handle a shared Instagram inbox?
Most of our DMs arrive between ten at night and two in the morning and we answer them at nine the next day. By then half of them have gone quiet. What do people do about the overnight gap?

We post three or four times a week and the DMs all land in one inbox. At the end of the month I can say we got leads but not from what. How do people attribute a DM lead back to the post?
This community is in English. The product interface and the help centre are in twenty languages, and the mismatch is deliberate for now rather than an oversight. The reason: a community answer is written once by a person and machine translating it into nineteen languages would p…
Our last giveaway took an evening to sort out and then someone in the comments said we picked a friend. I want the draw to be something I can defend. How do people set this up?

We are a salon and every appointment starts as an Instagram DM asking "do you have anything Saturday". Answering takes all day. Can the DM offer real times and actually book them?
Niamh O. ·
A customer told us they had asked to stop receiving messages and we kept sending. I checked and they wrote please stop the daily ones. Did we do something wrong or did that just not register?

Ask for it with a collect step that validates the answer, save it to the contact, then subscribe them to email so you have a channel with no messaging window. Do this in almost every Instagram and WhatsApp flow. It is the single most valuable thing a chat conversation can produc…
We lose people between the DM and the website. They ask about a product, we send a link, and that is the last we hear. Is there a way to actually take the payment inside the conversation?
Our Instagram token expired while I was away. I reconnected it the same day but the automations still are not sending and nothing in the flow looks wrong. Is there a second thing to switch back on?

We are on Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp and have time to do one properly. Which one gives the most back for a small business with no dedicated marketing person?
Zoe D. ·
We have no ad budget this quarter but decent organic reach. Most of that reach does nothing because people watch and scroll. What actually turns organic Instagram reach into DM leads?
Sofía L. ·
Use the find row step. It searches a sheet for a value from the conversation and brings the matching row back into the flow, so later steps can use those fields in messages and conditions. This is the cheapest lookup you can build, and it is enough for a surprising number of rea…

The Instagram window closes and then we cannot reach people who genuinely wanted to hear back. Collecting a phone number in the chat and texting later seems like the answer. How is that set up and what are the rules?

Several people said they never got our reply, then found it in their message requests days later. We are not doing anything unusual, just a comment to DM. Is this something we can change?

Broadcast to a segment of 4,100 contacts, delivered count came back as 260. No error anywhere. I expected some failures but not that ratio, so I assume I am misunderstanding something fundamental.
