Does it work with WooCommerce carts?

No. WooCommerce does not tell other tools about abandoned carts, so cart reminders are Shopify only. WooCommerce orders, placed and paid, do work.

Who gets a cart reminder?

Shoppers who typed an email or a phone number at checkout and did not order within an hour. People who never reached checkout cannot be reminded.

Can it send shipping updates?

No. ChatinFlow does not track shipments. You can answer "where is my order" questions in the inbox, or look an order up with an HTTP request step to your own system.

Do shoppers need to have agreed to WhatsApp messages?

Yes. Marketing messages on WhatsApp need the person's consent, and the reminder must be a template Meta approved. Only message shoppers who agreed at checkout.

Is a test order counted as a sale?

No. Test orders are left out of sales, and a refunded or canceled order is taken back out.

A shopper types their phone number at your Shopify checkout and walks away. An hour later they get one WhatsApp message with their cart saved, and if they order in the meantime, nothing is sent. Paid orders from Shopify or WooCommerce can get a thank you of their own.

How do cart reminders and order messages work?

Connect your Shopify or WooCommerce store in Settings, Integrations, Stores. Shopify tells ChatinFlow when a shopper who typed an email or a phone number leaves checkout; after an hour without an order, the Cart abandoned rule starts once, with their cart link, total and items. A new or paid order from either store starts its own rule, and a paid order counts as a sale in your ROI report. There is no cart reminder for WooCommerce and no shipping tracking.
